The Name Behind The Organic For You

In hindsight, had we been aware of the varied interpretations of the term 'organic,' we might have chosen a different name for our business. Currently, we are contemplating a name change, a decision that we anticipate making next year once all the requisite paperwork is completed. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that our commitment to providing quality products remains steadfast throughout this transition.

IF INOT ORGANIC -  IT IS NOT SAFE

"We've come to realize that the terms  "natural" and "organic" are subject to interpretation and, unfortunately, have been frequently misused within the beauty industry. It was a realization that came to us belatedly after naming our business. In the mainstream media and consumerism, the labels 'natural and organic' have been devalued and, at times, misappropriated. We acknowledge this discrepancy and are committed to navigating it with transparency and responsibility, ensuring that our customers

At The Organic For You, we pride ourselves on crafting products steeped in the wisdom of plant medicine from indigenous cultures around the globe. Our commitment to transparency is reflected in our clear labels, ensuring our clientele is well-informed about the safety and extensive research behind each formulation. Each product in our collection stands as a testament to its origins, featuring organic, locally sourced ingredients that speak for themselves.

Our Studio Safety | We create without compromise.

"We take great care in selecting what enters our studio to be infused into our formulations. Let's be real – as the makers, we prioritize our well-being above profits. We don't want anything that could harm our own lungs. Our commitment is to craft products that reflect our values, putting health and integrity first in every step of the formulation process."

We carefully assess ingredient safety before use in our products. Choosing a reputable ingredient supplier is no small task. The safety and quality of the final product is ultimately dependent on not only the ingredients themselves but also on the best practices of the supplier.

We understand the importance of trust in skincare, and we wish our products were officially certified with the 'Organic' stamp by a recognized organization. While we sincerely wish you could see our commitment through that stamp, we want to be transparent. Though not certified, we want you to believe in our words – our products are crafted with at least 95% organic ingredients. Regrettably, at this moment, they lack the official 'Organic' approval. We value your trust and are dedicated to continuous improvement in our commitment to transparency and quality.

The term 'organic' is commonly used today in various industries such as food, clothing, beauty products, and even in science, and for marketing purposes. Are you aware of the implications and meanings associated with organic?

THE CHEMICAL DEFINITION OF ORGANIC IN SCIENCE
In chemistry, the definition is based solely on chemical structure. With very few exceptions a chemical is classified as organic if it contains at least one carbon atom, regardless of its source. This is why organic chemistry is called “the chemistry of carbon.” Generally that carbon atom is bonded to at least one hydrogen atom. Amino acids are the building blocks of protein, and a good example of organic molecules.

How is a soap formed in chemistry?

Soaps are just potassium or sodium salts of long-chain fatty acids. During saponification, ester reacts with an inorganic base to produce alcohol and soap. Generally, it occurs when triglycerides are reacted with potassium or sodium hydroxide (lye) to produce glycerol and fatty acid salt, called 'soap'

THE AGRICULTURAL DEFINITION OF ORGANIC
The agricultural use of the term ‘organic’ is entirely different from the chemical use and is focused on product labeling. For a food or feed product to be labeled ‘organic’ there are agronomic and animal husbandry practices that have to be followed. According to the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA): “Organic meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy products come from animals that are given no antibiotics or growth hormones. Organic food is produced without using most conventional pesticides; fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge; bioengineering; or ionizing radiation.” Food produced in this way can be labeled with the USDA symbol and sold as ‘organic.’

It’s important to note that labeling a food ‘organic’ does not mean that the product is nutritious, healthy,  or safe; the labeling standards are based solely on agricultural field or farm practices.

Numerous organic stamped products cause rashes and burns, making their Organic Sealed company untrustworthy.

Organic Growth In Social Media and Business

Organic growth is the growth rate a company can achieve by expanding its operations from its own internal resources. However, organic growth does not cover growth resulting from acquiring or taking over other businesses; this is considered inorganic growth.

We proudly declare that our customers are Organic as they discovered us through unpaid search engine.

The story and meaning behind our name: The Organic For You

In the year 2008, selecting a domain name posed a considerable challenge. Our initial choice, 'Naturally To You,' was already claimed, and every alternative we considered seemed to be unavailable. Faced with these constraints, we made the decision to settle on 'The Organic For You,' little did we anticipate the controversy it would later generate. Our journey has been shaped by unforeseen twists, and we remain committed to navigating the evolving landscape with transparency and integrity.

During my childhood, conversations often revolved around the pure, unadulterated goodness that came directly from the farms – be it organic juice bursting with flavor, organic eggs from happy chickens, or organic milk sourced from happy cows and goats. The essence of 'organic' in my upbringing was a celebration of nature's bounty and the wholesome, farm-to-table practices that have enriched our lives for generations.

So what inspired us to name The Organic For You and how did the name come about?

The inspiration behind The Organic For You stems from the richness of the Greek language. In Greek, the word 'organic' translates to 'relating to or derived from living matter,' a concept closely tied to the essence of 'organism.' Embracing the profound connection between language and life, our brand encapsulates the spirit of vitality and the transformative power inherent in all things living."
In my beloved island of Puerto Rico, the term 'organic' carries a special meaning deeply rooted in farm-fresh authenticity.

"For clarity and accurate understanding, it's important to note that the term 'organic' in our business name refers to products crafted from natural ingredients or produced using organic farming methods. We want to assure our customers that our commitment to 'organic' signifies a dedication to authenticity, quality, and the use of nature's finest elements in our products."
